Claudia Williams is a Family Law Attorney with DC KinCare Alliance. Claudia is a child and family advocate who uses critical analysis, in-depth research methods, community education, and person-centered legal representation to protect and expand the rights of marginalized individuals and communities. During law school, she was a student attorney with the Child Welfare/Family Justice Clinic and the Managing Editor of the Howard Human and Civil Rights Law Review. After law school, Claudia was a law fellow at the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), serving the largest union of healthcare workers in North America. Prior to joining DC KinCare Alliance, she completed a judicial clerkship with the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District. She obtained a J.D. from Howard University School of Law, an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Memphis, and a B.A. in Sociology and Africana Studies from Bowdoin College.
