celebrate kinship families

This fall, like every year, we’re coming together to celebrate D.C.’s kinship families. But unlike every other year, this year has brought unprecedented threats to family stability due to economic hardship, cuts to the social safety net, and rigorous immigration enforcement. As a result, kinship caregivers are being called on, now more than ever, to raise vulnerable D.C. children whose parents cannot.  Help us ensure these children have safe and stable homes at this extraordinarily difficult time by sponsoring our Annual Benefit, purchasing a ticket to attend, or donating to help D.C.’s kinship families.

Our mission to support these caregivers

and the children they raise has never been more urgent.

We want you to be part of this special gathering that celebrates our collective achievements, only made possible with your support. Join Us for "A Day in the Life" of Kinship Caregivers.

You will hear from two of our heroic kinship caregivers who stepped in on a moment's notice to raise vulnerable children in their families. With DC KinCare Alliance's support, they have helped nurture and uplift these children to become writers, artists and dancers!  Get a first hand look at their special talents at this event!

Together, with your vital support, we will continue being a lifeline for D.C.’s kinship families as they navigate the road ahead.
